MARK IV (software)

This article is about 4GL software. For other meanings, see MARK-IV (disambiguation).

MARK-IV is a Fourth-generation programming language that was created by Informatics, Inc. in the 1960s.[1] Informatics, Inc. took advantage of IBM's decision to unbundle their software; MARK-IV was the first "software product to have cumulative sales of $10 million".[2]

MARK-IV (as VISION:BUILDER)[3] is now part of the product suite from Computer Associates. Training is available from 3rd parties.[4]
